Our extra-curricular highlights
Hunter Representation
Students at our school have the opportunity to represent the Hunter region in a variety of sports. This is a fantastic chance for talented athletes to compete at a higher level, develop their skills, and showcase their sporting achievements. We encourage all interested students to participate and strive for excellence.
Sport Opportunities
We offer a wide range of sporting opportunities for our students, including carnivals, gala days, and regular sport activities at school. These programs are designed to promote teamwork, fitness, and a love of physical activity.
Our aim is to encourage every student to participate and enjoy the many benefits of sport.
Public Speaking
We offer opportunities for students to develop confidence and communication skills through public speaking. Students can take part in school competitions and external events to showcase their talents.
Celebration Days
Throughout the year, we hold special events such as Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Easter Hat Parade, NAIDOC Day, and more. These days are wonderful opportunities for our school community to come together and celebrate.
Didge Group
Our Didge Group provides students with the opportunity to learn and perform the didgeridoo, celebrating Aboriginal culture and traditions. Participation fosters respect, musical skills, and cultural understanding within our school community.
Play Spaces
Our school features a variety of play spaces where students can enjoy active play, socialise, and develop important skills. These areas support wellbeing and help create a fun and engaging school environment.
Technology
Students have access to technology activities during two lunch breaks each week, including creative projects like stop motion animation. These sessions help students develop digital skills and explore a variety of engaging learning experiences.
