Student opportunities and activities
At Cooranbong Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights
Public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events. Each year students present a speech to their class teacher, two of these are selected to represent
Sports
We offer opportunities to join sporting teams, play in stage gala days and also represent the school and Hunter in swimming, athletics, cross country and sporting teams.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world. Day trips for ES1, Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage 3 have the opportunity to head to Canberra and Great Aussie Bush camp for a fantastic three-day experience.
